There will be travel Disruption for commuters between Barnstaple and Fremington, Yelland and Instow.

The new Roadworks at Bickington has caused chaos with travellers between Barnstaple and Fremington/Yelland/Instow..  It is advisable to take the route using the A39 to Instow and follow the road through Yelland. The road signs are very misleading when coming off the A39 at Instow., and can cause you to misread what is happening, Please take care. The signs are telling drivers that the road ahead is closed.  It should say the road ahead is closed from Fremington quay to Barnstaple and access is permissible to Fremington.  

Members that find travelling difficult, can temporarily drop out their groups by informing the group leader to let them know. You should be able to re-join your group again once the roadwork have cleared and the roads are back to normal.

It may be worth members of participating groups to discuss the possibility of car sharing to help ease individual travellers and costs.
