Dancersize

We have a qualified dance teacher.  Each week we are taught new dances of styles from around the world plus other choreographed mixtures.  We start with a warm up.  We end with a cool down, and in the middle we learn the routine, building up bit by bit, and then we run through the complete dance two or three times, depending on how long it has taken to learn!

The group aim is to remember the moves, co-ordinate arms with feet, spin round and change direction (advisory but not compulsory!).  All things we would not do in our day to day life but important moves we need to try and hold on to.

To sum up it is memory/co-ordination and enjoyment with very uplifting and lively music.  Everyone works at a level to suit themselves.  Partners not required.
